The time is NOW: Mobilize for education!
It's time to act! Get involved with these organizations tackling the issues that you're most passionate about.
The 2020 Election has come and gone, and you’re faced with empty hours previously filled by political volunteer actions. Don’t stagnate; the fight to create a more just, inclusive, and democratic world continues. Identify the issue(s) you’re most passionate about, and get involved with one (or more!) of the 3,000 organizations on Mobilize.
Fighting for teacher’s rights goes beyond the 2020 election. A stronger education system will always positively impact students, families, and society in general. Find ways to support our educators with labor unions and other organizations.
American Federation of Teachers:
Who are they? The AFT is the second largest teacher’s labor union in America. They advocate for the rights of educators around the country.
Our favorite past event? Get out the Vote Press Conference and Materials Giveaway!
This in-person AFT event featured high-profile speakers from Pennsylvania and featured giveaways of T-shirts, masks, and buttons! Attendees were invited to bring their ballot to turn it into the early voting center, and they were able to speak with panelists about their platforms and visions.
