A map of your events

Now you can create a map of your events nationwide or of a subset of events based on tag, event type, location, and more!

We are constantly working to improve the ways that supporters discover your events.  We recently rolled out improvements to how events appear in Google, new ways to search for events, and new ways to discover events on the feed and event pages to help drive discoverability.  Today we are rolling out another improvement—a map of your events!

We know that you’ve been asking for this improvement—and for good reason. Organizations have let us know how important maps are for showing nationwide momentum and discovering local events near you.

We designed the map to do both of these things. Now you can create a map of your events nationwide or of a subset of events based on tag, event type, location, and more!

Mapping All of Your Events

In the top left corner of your feed, you’ll now have a little map icon.  If you tap on the map icon, you’ll be taken to a map of all your events. Tapping on a dot will show you the details for the event.

Additionally, if you’d like to directly share your map with supporters, you can just copy and paste the map URL (mobilize.us/yourslug/map/) and send it to them.

Note: If you tap “back to list” on the map after moving the map around, the list will be re-sorted based on where the map is focused.

Mapping Searches

Any search can also be a map!  You can now create a map of all of your phone banks or a map of all of your events tagged with LGBTQ+, etc.

As a reminder, you can search by:

  • Free text of the title/description
  • Event Type
  • Location
  • Date
  • Event Tags
  • Accessibility level
  • and more…

After you do a search, just tap the same map icon in the top left and the map will reflect your search results. You can share this customized map with others by sending them the URL.

We look forward to seeing what maps you share with your supporters!
