What do you love most about organizing?

The community, friendships, stories, and of course, that rush you get when you finally hit the goal that scared you to death when you first saw it!

What's your favorite Mobilize feature?

Closing shifts/updating attendee statuses through the dashboard. So small but such a game changer!

What did you do before joining Mobilize?

I worked on campaigns! I started as an organizer on the Obama campaign in Colorado in 2012 and have worked in Virginia, Iowa, North Carolina and a bunch of other places along the way. I left my heart in Raleigh where I was a Deputy Organizing Director in North Carolina in 2016.

When you're not at Mobilize, people can find you...

Probably hiking, knee deep in a crossword puzzle, planning my next road trip or hanging out with my nephew, Bowie (my best friend’s dog but who’s counting)

What do you love most about organizing?

I love relationship building, both with members of the organization and with the team! It's hard to forget the people you meet when you're an organizer.

What's your favorite Mobilize feature?

Mobilize Messaging. The flexibility of easily reaching my attendees both before and after an event is so powerful!

What did you do before joining Mobilize?

I worked at M+R, a digital services firm, but my roots are in Ohio where I was an organizer for the Ohio Democratic Party and Hillary for America.

Empowering people to become engaged, take action, and find their voices.

What's your favorite Mobilize feature?

Distributed Organizing is a feature that allows an organization to be nimble by engaging people with distributed actions, while giving the organization the ability to be prescriptive, enforce quality control, and maintain data.

What did you do before joining Mobilize?

I worked for over six years in the Gun Violence Prevention movement, working both as an organizer, data manager, and trainer.

Helping people and communities find and harness their power. Coming together to fight for our collective humanity and building a future that benefits all of us!

What's your favorite Mobilize feature?

Promotions! Being able to highlight and promote the work of your partners and have them do the same for you is amazing.

What did you do before joining Mobilize?

Before coming to Mobilize, I worked with non-profit at advocacy groups at Hustle. I've also been an organizer working with black immigrant communities in the midwest for 15 years and have worked in international development, helping pastoral communities prepare/respond to the effects of climate change on their livelihoods.

Hanging with my sisters, taking in a play/comedy show/movie, reading in the park or exploring the NYC food scene.
