We’re so proud of everything our partners accomplished with Mobilize in 2019. It was a big year for us, and we’re ready to take on 2020.
Use of Mobilize scaled drastically in 2019:
- 1,805 organizations used Mobilize (including 20 Presidential campaigns)
- 1.13 million actions were taken by 525,000 supporters—that’s 32% YOY growth in actions and 52% YOY growth in supporters
Our new features increased impact from supporters:
- We launched distributed organizing capabilities enabling 17,300 volunteer hosts to create 34,400 events yielding 213,000 actions (that’s 19% of the total)
- Through our integration with ActBlue, supporters initiated over 9,000 donations
Our network supercharged both organizers’ and volunteers’ efforts:
- 342 organizations promoted others’ events yielding over 52,000 actions
- Social recruitment led to over 118,000 actions (over 10% of the total)
- 16x more supporters visited mobilize.us in December than in January
With the momentum from 2019 and our recently announced funding round, we are ready for an incredible 2020. This year, we are on track to:
- Grow our team to 37, from 30 today, with much of that in product & engineering
- Increase volunteer conversion, retention, and engagement through sustained investments in conversion optimization and getting volunteers to bring friends
- Adding a ton of tools to make organizing easier, like event check-in, custom form fields, new integrations, more event type flexibility, and improved dashboard experience
- Reach 4 million volunteers, driving a wider pre-fill universe, social experience, and more personalization
- Add many more labor unions, advocacy organizations, and nonprofits to the Mobilize network!
